I've finally cracked the shits while planning my next Moreton Trip (Fraser in photo).
4WD access on islands can be tricky with trying to navigate tidal times and daylight hours, specifically with islands such as Fraser and Moreton Island. I found some calendar feeds a few years ago - however they're all gone. I've spent the better part of today making a script to pull data and convert it to a calendar. This is for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026. Each Calendar provides you with High & Low Tides, Sunrise/Sunset times & the current Lunar Cycle for all you fishos out there.
Drive safe and always remember the most important thing when driving on sand: Drop your tyre pressure! Don't forget, it's easier on your engine to drive on the hard sand near the water and you're less likely to cause damage to vegetation or nesting turtles.

Don't forget: Please clean up your rubbish!!!!- there's so much being left at campsites it's out of control (last weekend around Cox's River/Lake Lyell). If you're out of the car and see it, just pick up a bottle or tin or two, if everyone does it the place will be infinitely cleaner. 🖖
